This is important information for Room 7 PE classes for the next few weeks. The class will have 3 periods where they are at the MEC skating/playing hockey, 3 periods where they are curling, and periods where they will be sledding at the Nature Park Hill.
Skating: All students are expected to skate. Mr. Hepp has a few pairs of skates available to those who don't have any. Helmets are also mandatory. The school has helmets available for students who have none. If a student chooses they can bring a hockey stick and gloves.
Dates for Skating:
Curling: All students will go to the MEC to curl. They will provide sliders and brooms. The requirement for students is that they have a clean pair of shoes that they can CARRY over to the curling rink on their assigned days. Dirty shoes are not permitted. If your son/daughter has PE shoes they change into they can carry those over.
Dates for Curling:
Sledding: On the Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays when students are not curling or skating they will be at the Nature Park for sledding. Students are encouraged to bring a sled and need to dress for the weather.
I will send out short reminders the day before the class is scheduled to curl or skate.
So please remember that on Monday students are curling. Remind them to bring clean shoes (if they don't have a pair at school). Let me know if you have any questions.
